dc.description.abstractThis paper introduces a new life time distribution called Odd Exponentiated Half Logistic Exponentiated Exponential (OEHL-EE) using Odd Exponentiated Half Logistic –G generator of statistical distributions. Some mathematical properties of the proposed OEHL-EE distribution are derived such as moments, coefficient of variation, skewness, kurtosis, moment generating function, quantile function, Renyi, entropy, and order statistics. The estimation of the OEHL-EE parameters is conducted using maximum likelihood estimation method. We compared the fits of the OEHL-EE distribution with some selected existing models and the results show that the proposed OEHL-EE model best fitted to both simulated and real-life data than other considered existing models when compare under different model
